Parents

Parents interested in enrolling their child in Community Nursery School should know that parental involvement is a crucial component of the school's goals and objectives. Parents assist in their child's classroom about once a month and in some special projects throughout the year.

All parents take part in the annual Little Folks Fair, which is our only fundraiser. The fair is held on the Guilford Green and has become a summertime tradition for Guilford and the neighboring towns.

As a cooperative school, Community Nursery School is governed by a volunteer board of parents whose children attend the school. The board works in conjunction with the teachers and director to establish policies and guidelines for the operation of the school.
